RJ45 port doesn't work

Bought a F3 and the port doesn't work plugged it in a it turns my router light yellow but when i revert bak to my other reciever its fine so its not the router, is there something i have to do to switch the port on in the menu on reciever or do i just sent it back for a replacement?

help please
