I've been experimenting with Linux on my laptop and I accidentally managed to delete my recovery partition. To make matters worse I have now corrupted the linux partition and the drive doesn't boot at all now.
So I thought I'd just download a Windows 7 Home Premium x64 ISO and install it using the CD-KEY that is printed on the label beneath the laptop. Everything is fine until it asks me to enter the key then it reports that the key is wrong!
How can the key be wrong? The laptop comes with a Win7 Home Premium x64 CD-KEY and that's the exact version that I downloaded. What is the point of this CD-KEY?
