Hard drive for nas

Hi guys, finally got round to getting a nas enclosure which ive been meaning to do for quite a while now, was looking at compatible hard drives for my nas and noticed it saying desktop harddrive, enterprise hard drive and nas hard drive, i wont be getting a enterprise one as the 4tb are expensive, so im looking at the desktop and nas versions, theres about 10 , 15 quid difference, what im wondering is if there really is a difference in the 2, im presuming im better going for the nas version seen as though its for a nas but what actual benefits will i get, from what ive read , i think theres difference in the firmwares , think the nas ones are better for raid setups, is there really a difference ?
Also whats the best make for a 4tb hard drive ? Are the HGST a good make for my needs ?
