No not that sort of problem..
I have an oak sprung slatted ottoman bad, with a stupidly priced but equally good mattress plonked on top, its a 3000 sprung encapsulated in memory foam and about 12" deep. Any way we moved earlier this year so been sleeping on the mattress on the floor which has been fine :) we then finish the bedroom revamp etc and put the bed back in and since then my back has been fecking killing me while asleep which in turn wakes me up :(
So I am thinking of getting rid of the slats and just attaching a board to the metal base as I think the mattress and the sprung slats might be incompatible ? any one done the same? its a metal frame nice and solid with the central support.
