Sky Re-Pair card Q's

Afternoon all,

My cards been paired to it's HD box so i'm trying to get it re-paired to an SD box, couple of Q's

I've been in touch with Scy and told them my out of warranty box is broken and they were quite happy to pair the card with an older SD box.

Q. If i get it re-paired to an SD box, will OSCAM be able to open all channels?

When i spoke to the guy about the re-pair, he said that the box MUST be updated with the latest software.

Q. If i update the old box to the latest software, will the card be permanently paired with the old box and not work in OSCAM?

Q. If i don't update the old box but tell the guy i have done so and find out and give him the latest version number would that do the trick or would the card be un paired and not take entitlements updates?
