windows8 problem

Hi Folks,
Am trying to download the latest software for the Cas interface 3.
I am probably the problem rather than my new PC.
The downloading appears to be ok, as well is the installation
stage, BUT I cannot get a tile or icon to be able to run the
Programmer.As an experiment using my retired Wind XP, I
downloaded the required file and installing, then copied the
file on to a usb flash drive. Worked ok. NO results when moving
the f/drive to wind 8 pc. Help appreciated. KEL.
